A sample of a cancer patient’s diet
Cancer patients should be more careful about their nutrition and follow a healthy diet to put their body on the path to recovery and better treatment. Below is an example of a meal plan for chemotherapy patients.
The consumption amount of Lavash bread is half a piece to a whole piece (if you have an appetite) and the consumption amount of Tufton or Sangak bread is 4 slices (each slice is equal to one palm).
- First day: Liqvan or cream cheese, a can of matches + two walnuts + 1 g honey
- Second day: one whole egg + 3 tomatoes and olives + 2 tbsp strawberry jam or flower jam + 1 tbsp butter
- Third day: a bowl of lentils + 2 g olive oil and 1 g lemon juice + two oranges or a glass of natural orange juice
- Fourth day: a bowl of halim or 1.5 bowls of porridge or rice milk + grape juice 2 g or flower jam 2 g
- Fifth day: 2 g cream + 3 g honey + 1 egg white or 1 g cream cheese + 1 walnut
- 6th day: halwascheri 3 grams + butter 2 grams + 1 egg
- Seventh day: 2 g of butter + 3 g of honey + a glass of Nescafe with milk
??Consumption of a glass of pale tea in breakfast
- Morning snack:
3 units of fruit must be consumed.
??Each unit of fruit is equal to:
- 1 orange
- 2 tangerines
- 1 medium apple
- 1 banana
- 1 medium bunch of grapes (recommended to use red grapes because of its antioxidants)
- 1 peach
- 2 white nectarines
- 1 pomegranate, which is very useful for cancer patients.
- 1 persimmon
- 1 glass of strawberries
Jelly 2 cups + homemade cake one slice or golden stem biscuits 2 pcs
Or
10 raw almonds or 15-20 raw pistachios or 15 hazelnuts + 20 raisins or dried berries
If you want to drink green tea two cups a day.
At lunch, if you eat rice, which is much more useful and valuable, take 12 grams of rice, if you use drained rice, 15 grams of rice, and if you eat bread, take the same amount as recommended in breakfast.
- Day 1: It must be consumed once a week, the size of a whole palm or a piece of salmon + salad, always with food, along with mayonnaise, yogurt and olive oil.
- Second day: add grilled or steamed or boiled chicken to the size of half a breast + semi-fat yogurt, mint, dried flowers and 10 raisins to the yogurt. (mint is anti-nausea)
- Third day: 3 g green bean stew + a piece of muscle meat + Shirazi salad with olive oil and fresh lemon juice
- Day 4: Lentils or bean pilaf with 16 g of meat or equivalent to 2.5 full spatulas + seasonal salad + yogurt
- Fifth day: all kinds of stew (carrot, celery, minced meat, sabzi or fesanjan) 3-4 hours + a piece of stewed meat the size of a matchbox
- Sixth day: pasta with minced meat, bell peppers, mushrooms and a little pizza cheese, 2 spatulas + salad or vegetables
- Seventh day: low-fat broth

The consumption of the bottom of the pot should be limited as much as possible.
To increase the calorie intake of beer, it is recommended to drink it not in the middle of the meal, but after finishing the meal.
- Evening snack:
Ice cream twice a week and on the rest of the week, definitely one glass of semi-fat milk + 2 dates + 15 raw almonds + one Yazdi cake or Ahri bread + 2 fruits + 1 g jelly
??Eat these snacks with a distance.
- First night: Spinach food (onion, spinach, mushroom and egg) 4 g with a piece of whole grain bread
- Second night: milk soup with toasted bread crumbled in the soup
- Third night: Beans (green beans, peas, corn, mushrooms and minced meat or bearded chicken) 4 hours + a piece of whole grain bread
- Fourth night: steamed or boiled vegetables (potatoes, carrots, broccoli, white cabbage and pumpkin) + three shrimps
- 5th night: coco bean or vegetable coco provided that it is baked in the oven and only one slice of egg white is used.
- Sixth night: semi-fat yogurt, chopped cucumber, 15 raisins, chopped walnuts, mint and dried flowers??If you have no appetite, at least take this so that your stomach is not empty.
- Seventh night: 2 egg whites and 1 medium boiled potato with 1 tbsp of melted butter and mint and 1 piece of whole grain bread.
