Fungi are organisms that live in our environment and next to us and are usually found in abundance in the air, soil, water, plants and even humans. The human body has a special type of fungi inside itself, which are usually harmless. However, when for some reason the fungus grows and reproduces excessively in our body system, it can cause a fungal infection.
How can a fungus cause an infectious disease?
The fungi that cause skin infections in our body feed on a protein called keratin in our body. This type of protein is found in the outer layer of the skin, nails and hair. There are different types of fungi that are responsible for different skin infections. Skin infections can occur anywhere on our body, including areas such as the feet, nails, scalp, and groin area. Most of these infections can be controlled with topical medications. However, they can cause symptoms in some parts of the body, especially when the immune system is weak.

Mild infections of that group are infections that occur from time to time with mild or moderate symptoms, but many women suffer from frequent and annoying infections. In this case, treatment can include the use of antifungal ointment, tablets, suppositories or creams.

Symptoms of fungal infection in the scalp: Vulnerable hair that tends to come out of the scalp with the slightest pull is one of the symptoms of fungal infection in the scalp. Red or gray color of the infection area and pain and burning in the infection area are also important signs. Usually this infection starts with a small bump or a small scaly lump on the scalp and it can be confused with dandruff. The infection spreads slowly and produces one or more hairless spots. Acute cases of this infection may even lead to permanent hair loss.
Symptoms of genital fungal infection: One of the most common fungal infections is infection in the vagina. Microorganisms are usually present in the vagina, and when the fungi inside the vagina begin to multiply, an infection occurs. Common symptoms may include:

Women who are pregnant or have a very weak immune system are more susceptible to this infection than others, and the prevalence of this type of infection in them is much higher than other women.
