Dealing with all types of cancer
If you want to identify cancer in the early stages, we suggest you take a look at this article and prevent it from forming in your body by adopting some effective ways and methods.
Dr. Ali Akbar Siyari, in a note about cancer and its prevention strategies, said: “Among the different cancers, breast and cervical cancer (in women) and colon cancer (in both sexes) are the targets of early detection programs by the World Health Organization. have been introduced.
The early detection program of these three cancers in Iran emphasizes the diagnosis of high-risk and suspicious people and is planned at different levels of service provision:
– At the level of primary health care (PHC): with simple and cheap tests (clinical examination for breast cancer, fecal occult blood test with FIT method for colon cancer, pap smear and HPV test for cervical cancer) high-risk people and are identified as suspicious.
– At the second level of services: suspicious and symptomatic people who are at most 15% of the total target population (women aged 30 to 70 and men and women aged 50 to 70) are subjected to more complete examinations (mammography, colonoscopy and colposcopy). We expect help from insurance organizations to cover the deductible of these services, which are emphasized to be related to high-risk people (not all people in the society).
Undoubtedly, early detection of all types of cancers with systematic and standardized programs reduces the costs of treating a late-diagnosed disease.
Today, the number of people who die due to cancer has decreased compared to three decades ago, the most important reason for this, in addition to the more effective treatments that have been found, is the increase in people’s awareness and the promotion of early diagnosis methods. Even for those with poor overall cancer survival, the chance of survival is greater with early detection.
Early detection means that people know the warning signs of cancer so that if they find the symptoms in themselves, they can go to health centers quickly.

According to the documents of the World Health Organization, 40% of cancers can be prevented, and the cases that cannot be prevented are more treatable if they are diagnosed in the shade of self-care, a hopeful look at the effectiveness of diagnostic and treatment methods, and timely and early referral.
Maybe if you know that at least half of cancers will be cured with proper treatment, you will pay attention to your suspicious symptoms sooner. But what to do?
Do not smoke: The use of any tobacco products, such as cigarettes, pipes, and hookahs, is dangerous and causes various types of cancer, including lung, bladder, kidney, and cervix. Even chewing tobacco is dangerous and increases the possibility of oral and pancreatic cancers.
If you don’t smoke, avoid sitting where other people smoke. Quitting smoking is perhaps the most important decision of your life, the effects of quitting smoking are evident from the very first hours of quitting. The sooner you quit smoking, the more you will benefit.
– Have regular physical activity: Regular physical activity reduces the possibility of cancers such as breast and colon. Exercise 30 minutes a day. so that your heart rate increases and along with it, you have exercises to strengthen your muscles. If you can’t exercise as much as you want, rest assured that even a few minutes of exercise is better than no exercise at all. Avoid sitting for a long time.
– Keep your weight in an ideal state. High weight increases the possibility of getting various types of cancer, especially breast, prostate and colon cancer.
– Have a healthy diet: Cut back on starchy foods and eat a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid sugary drinks. Eat the right amount of food. Try not to skip main meals, because then you will be forced to snack.
Eat in peace and don’t eat in a state of stress and anxiety. Use low-fat and animal fat-free foods as much as possible. Use five servings of vegetables and fruits daily. Use the correct cooking methods, such as grilling, steaming, boiling, and gentle cooking at low heat. Do not eat half-burnt and burnt foods. Avoid consuming smoked, salted or processed meats with chemicals and preservatives such as sausages, sausages and canned goods. Reduce the consumption of sugar and refined sugar. Limit the consumption of salt and use spices and herbs to flavor the food.

– Observe the principles of work safety at home and in the workplace: Certain occupations, including farming, spraying pesticides, painting, furniture making, and working in the iron, steel, and coal industries, increase the risk of certain cancers.
Avoid contact with pesticides. Pesticides are mostly absorbed through the skin, and in case of contact, the body should be washed quickly. When working with solvents, you must ensure that the room is fully ventilated. Work outside or open windows if possible.
Avoid unnecessary exposure to X-rays as much as possible.
– Control your stress: Have a healthy social life. Trust in God and His wisdom and devote a few minutes of the day to being alone with yourself and praying, to reach peace. Treat others with kindness and respect. Avoid tension and anxiety. Anxiety weakens the body’s defense system. Respect the opinions of others. Love others and don’t judge prematurely. If someone does something bad to you, control your anger and try to forgive him. Do not expect unrealistic expectations from yourself and others.
