Diabetes and hypertension are among the complications of vitamin D deficiency in the body

Unfortunately, the change in lifestyle and living in apartments has caused most people to suffer from vitamin D deficiency. Also, vegetarians who are not exposed to sunlight due to the type of climate where they live may suffer from vitamin D deficiency.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble and is known as cholecalciferol. Lack of vitamin D in the body causes the bones not to absorb the necessary calcium, and as a result, people suffer from osteoporosis. Vitamin D deficiency also reduces the body’s immunity level.

According to the American Health Organization’s research, men and women who suffer from vitamin D deficiency are more prone to prostate diseases and breast cancer than others, so that if people consume 600 units of vitamin D daily, they can prevent blood diseases by 28%.

People who suffer from vitamin D deficiency have bone pain and muscle weakness, which in case of a severe decrease in the level of vitamin D in the body, people suffer from cardiovascular diseases, asthma in children, cancer, and cognitive disorders in the elderly.

Lack of vitamin D in the body causes type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as increased blood pressure, sclerosis and causes liver problems.
