Example of high fiber diet 1

To what extent does a high-fiber diet help improve our health? What foods are a source of fiber? It’s not bad. Examine the therapeutic properties and benefits of different types of fiber. Keep looking at it.

Purpose of giving a high fiber diet:

  • Increase stool weight and volume and reduce bowel emptying time
  • Bringing serum lipids to normal
  • Modulate the hypoglycemic reaction after eating

Applications of the diet:

  • Some types of cancer (such as cancer of the uterus or lining of the uterus)
  • Hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular disease
  • Regulation of blood sugar in diabetics
  • Obesity and weight control
  • Diverticulosis (a low-fiber diet is recommended for diverticulitis when inflamed, but a high-fiber diet is prescribed after the inflammation has cleared to reduce bowel movements and intra-colon pressure), Intestinal Irritability Syndrome (IBS)
  • Crohn’s disease

High fiber diet specifications:

Increasing dietary fiber by 20 to 35 grams per day is recommended, which is possible by increasing the consumption of whole grains, fruits, vegetables and legumes in the daily diet.

High fiber diet sample (This diet contains 1400 kcal of energy, 225 g of carbohydrates, 66 g of protein, 33 g of fat and 25 g of fiber)

Wholemeal bread 2 slices + 30 grams of liqueur cheese or 1 can of matches + low-fat milk 1 glass + 1 piece of fruit

2 whole wheat biscuits

Pilaf lentils with raisins and dates (cooked 15 ounces rice + half a glass cooked lentils + 2 ounces raisins + 2 dates) + Shirazi salad 1 medium bowl

2 pieces of fruit

Wholemeal bread 2 slices + barley soup 1 cup + grilled chicken 90 g + green beans half a cup cooked + carrots half a cup cooked + vegetables

1 fruit (type, degree of ripeness and freshness of vegetables and fruits affect their fiber content. Fruits and vegetables that are less ripe have more fiber)
