Food allergy control methods

Some foods cause allergic reactions in our body. Among these foods, we can mention milk, fish, peanuts, eggs, wheat and soy. Next, get to know the methods of controlling and reducing food allergies.
Food allergies can range from mild to severe.
A food allergy is when your immune system shows an inappropriate response to a certain food or a food ingredient. When your immune system mistakes a food for a harmful substance, it creates immunoglobulin E antibodies to fight it. The next time you eat even a little bit of this food, this antibody will sense it and cause your immune system to release chemicals. These chemicals cause food allergy symptoms.
Allergenic food
According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), there are eight types of food that cause 90% of food allergies. Fortunately, the Food Sensitivity Labeling and Consumer Protection Act was enacted, which requires food manufacturers to inform consumers of the presence of each of these ingredients on their packaging. Food allergies are more common in people who consume any of the following:
• Lion
• egg
• peanut
• Wheat
• Soy
• Fish
• Shell
• Nuts
This allergy label does not apply to meat, chicken and eggs.
The most common food allergens
Lion
Milk allergy is more common in children than in adults. So that this sensitivity is more evident at the age of three years. Milk allergy is the most common food allergy in childhood, affecting 2.5% of children under the age of three. There are two types of proteins in milk that can cause allergies: casein and whey protein, which in most cases is the allergenic whey protein.

Like milk, children are more allergic to eggs than adults. At least 2% of children have this allergy. Proteins in egg yolk and egg white can cause allergies. However, it is said that the sensitivity to egg white is higher than that of egg yolk. Note that people with severe egg allergies should talk to their doctor before getting the flu shot, as egg protein is also used in the vaccine.

Peanut allergy is more common in children than in adults. Peanuts are the main cause of many food allergy attacks. If a child is mildly allergic to peanuts or peanut butter, a peanut allergy test must be done. Because even if your child has a minor allergy, there is a serious risk of developing a severe allergy in the future. Many food products that do not contain peanuts are processed in factories with peanuts and may contain some of the proteins found in peanuts.

Four proteins in wheat can be allergens: albumin, globulin, gliadin, and gluten, and wheat protein, especially gluten, is found in many types of foods, including:

Soy
Children are also more sensitive to soy than adults. Soy can cause food allergies in children under three years of age. Soy allergy symptoms are often not severe.
Fish
Although a person with a fish allergy may be allergic to only one type of fish, it is generally recommended that these people avoid all fish. Unlike other types of food allergy, fish allergy will accompany a person throughout his life. Fish allergy is one of the food allergies in adults.
Shell
All types of shellfish and molluscs can cause allergic reactions. Some common examples are crabs, shrimps and snails, oysters, squids and octopuses. Some people are allergic to only one type of these. This food allergy is more common in adults.
nuts
Nuts and nuts that can cause allergies include: almonds, American walnuts, pistachios, walnuts, which, like oysters, some people may be allergic to one of these types of nuts, or may be allergic when using all of them. These things happen.
