Eliminating inflammation of corns and corns
What are the causes of calluses? How does this condition occur? What methods can we use to resolve it? How can the inflammation and pain of calluses and corns be resolved?
Dr. Neda Alblock, assistant professor of dermatology at Langone Medical Center in New York, said: Calluses can form in any area of the body that is under wear, such as the fingers of a guitar player or the palms of a mechanic.
He added: corns also usually grow on the tip and side of the toe and on the sole of the foot, and the common causes are complications caused by arthritis or non-standard shoes.
Al-Blouk also noted: sometimes corns and calluses are mistaken for warts. Inside the warts on the soles of the feet there are black dots, which are actually small blood vessels. Warts on the soles of the feet are more painful, especially when pressure is applied to both sides.
If corns and calluses bother you, there are a few ways to treat them.
– Wash corns or calluses with water for 10 minutes until the skin becomes soft, then use a pumice stone and circular movement or one side of it to rub them. Removing too much dead skin can cause infection and bleeding.
– Another method is to use moisturizing lotion or cream containing salicylic acid, ammonium lactate, urea in this area of the skin, which is effective in gradually softening corns or calluses.
– To prevent excessive inflammation of the callus, divide a piece of mole skin into two semicircles and place them around the callus and cover the corns with ring-like adhesive layers. These products are available in most pharmacies.
– Shoes that are not suitable for the size or shape of your feet will cause corns to grow. The best time to buy shoes is in the evening.
– Arrange the toenails. If the nails grow too long, they put pressure on the toes so that the toes are placed upwards and against the wall of the shoe, and putting the foot in this position causes corns to grow.
Corns and calluses usually disappear when the pressure or friction factors are stopped.
