Foods that cause allergies
Have you ever been surprised by the red patches that have just appeared on your skin? Or does your stomach hurt every day for no reason? Well, it may not be wise to always blame the changing seasons and weather. Most of the foods that are eaten may cause allergic reactions. We have prepared a list of foods that should be avoided as much as possible
peanut: It is estimated that peanut affects 0.4 to 0.6% of people. Mansi Belani (nutritionist) says that peanuts are the cause of allergic reactions such as abdominal pain, skin rashes and sudden asthma attacks.
soybeans: It is said that the presence of phytoestrogen and high amount of fiber in soybeans is the cause of digestive system problems such as mouth swelling, bloating, diarrhea and abdominal pain.
Other vegetables: “Jivash Shetty” (nutritionist) says that other vegetables such as carrot, spinach, lettuce, garlic, cauliflower, sweet potato and pumpkin cause allergic reactions such as skin itching, stomach pain and abdominal problems.
Fruits: Among fruits, strawberries, bananas, oranges and grapes are the main culprits of allergic reactions. Citrus fruits like lime are also the cause of atopic allergy.
wheat flour: It is said that wheat gluten is an allergen and is related to the acceleration of celiac disease symptoms in some people. Celiac disease damages the lining of the small intestine and prevents the absorption of vital nutrients. Belani says that gluten is found in barley, rye and buckwheat.
cow milk: Casein protein and beta lactoglobulin in this milk are known as allergens. Consumption of cow’s milk causes stomach ache and other allergic reactions such as weakness of movements, nausea, etc.
egg: It is known as an allergen among animal foods. Belani says that eggs are the cause of certain skin problems.
Fish and meat: Fish and meat cause allergic reactions in some people. These reactions mainly cause hives (an itchy skin infection), digestive disorders and even asthma.
