How Negative Emotions Affect Our Body and Its Response To Disease and Illness

How do our emotions affect our health? Did you know that by experiencing different negative emotions (anger, guilt, jealousy, sadness, etc.), our bodies are directly influenced by a constant build-up that manifests in different areas of the body (similar to the Chinese Chi body grid). Emotion is essentially energy in motion. Our body becomes a giant circuit board for all of the feelings we experience, with each emotion carrying its own measurable energy frequency.

Instinctive emotions (aka. “fight or flight”) like fear or anger resonate at around 6.5 htz – the same frequency as the colour red. This area is located around your tailbone/pelvic area (root chakra), and resonates at this frequency.

Love, on the other hand, resonates at very high frequencies – 100 htz – the same frequency as ultra-violet light. This frequency is one of the highest known, and is located around your third eye (on your forehead, just above your nose).

A large majority of studies have shown that negative emotions weaken the body, while positive emotions make us stronger, and prevent us from acquiring illness and disease. One emotion, shame, has the most destructive influence on the body, followed by guilt, apathy, grief, fear, anxiety, craving, anger and then hate.

So what body parts pain you the most? Click on the chart below to find out what you need to work on, how you can break through and release tension, and heal the body simply through state of mind and being aware of your emotions. It is time to let go!
