Nematullah Masoudi, a member of the Iranian Scientific Association of Traditional Medicine, said about vegetarianism: “This is a kind of treatment diet and it is recommended to them according to the temperament of different people.” Vegetarianism reduces the production of thick blood and helps the body regenerate.
He added: “It should be noted that vegetarianism is never recommended to anyone permanently because the plant is not a complete food and our body needs meat.” The body’s energy and muscle building is received through the consumption of meat.

The traditional healer described the symptoms of people with heavy blood as “rosy face, nausea, yawning, heaviness or a history of overeating, high consumption of meat and concentrated foods.” It is better for these people to start traditional vegetarian medicine in consultation with a doctor, and the specialist will prescribe a certain period of time according to each person’s temperament. This diet may take two weeks for one person and several months for another.
Masoudi added: “In addition to those who have heavy blood, people with stomach and liver problems are also recommended to eat vegetarian, but these people need to start this diet under the supervision of a specialist.”
