If you love grapes, then you’ll love this homemade grape juice.
Grapes are a wonder cure against heart attacks, according to new research. They have the ability to lower high blood pressure by up to 5% and cholesterol by 14%! They also contain powerful antioxidants called polyphenols, which slow and prevent many cancer types. They help with allergies, too, thanks to the active compound called quercetin, a natural anti-inflammatory.
This drink can be made in juice or smoothie form. I prefer it juiced, but that’s just me. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Homemade Grape Juice Recipe
– 3 cups purple or black grapes
– 1 cup cucumber
– 1/2 lemon, peeled
– Optional: 1 inch fresh ginger root
Run all of the above ingredients through a juicer (or blender, as it makes a great smoothie too!) and add some ice cubes if you’d like it more as a refreshing beverage. Enjoy!
