Obesity and its relationship with health

Various researches and statistics have shown that obesity is a negative factor for the health and longevity of people. Medical reports confirm that obesity and many physical diseases are related and the death rate in obese people is higher than normal people.
Obesity is clearly associated with cardiovascular disease. In fact, there is a close relationship between obesity and atherosclerosis. On the other hand, about 60% of very obese people have high blood pressure, and when some of their weight is reduced, their blood pressure decreases. Shortness of breath due to the reduction of the vital capacity of the lungs due to the accumulation of fats in the abdominal and chest wall is another complication of obesity. Sleep apnea and hypoventilation syndrome are also associated with obesity.
From the point of view of orthopedics, flat feet, arthritis of the knee joints and lumbar vertebrae, and gout are more common in obese people. Other diseases that can be related to obesity include: diabetes, digestive and liver problems, and various cancers.
Death due to diabetes in obese people is 4 times more than normal people, the death rate of these people due to appendicitis is also twice. In general, comparing obese people to normal people, obesity is a red sign and danger light. In fact, weight control will increase life expectancy.
