In order to keep the fruits better, you should know that each fruit lives longer and remains healthy in a certain condition.
Some fruits, such as fruits from tropical regions, are sensitive to cold, and if they are kept in the refrigerator, they spoil sooner; Fruits such as mango and pineapple are like this and it is better to keep them outside the refrigerator in a space in the kitchen that is away from direct sunlight.
Banana is also one of the same type of fruits and for longer shelf life, it is better to wrap it in a black bag or newspaper and hang it in a part of the kitchen with a thread. If you wrap the top part of the banana where the bananas are connected with foil, the bananas will last longer and will not spoil.
Apple is one of the most resistant fruits and if it is not damaged and kept in a cool place, it can be stored for up to 2 months. So, when washing and moving the apples, be careful not to hit them so that they remain healthy for a longer period of time.
Cucumbers, unlike apples, get spoiled quickly. To extend the life of cucumbers, wrap them sitting in a closed container or in a newspaper and keep them in the refrigerator. If you wash the cucumbers, dry them completely and then store them in a closed container. Remember that even sitting cucumbers start to sweat after a while, so visit the cucumbers after a few days and dry them with a cloth, or after placing the cucumbers in the container, cover them with a cloth to catch the water from evaporation.
The method of keeping lemons is similar to that of cucumbers. Keep them in a closed container in the refrigerator and if you wash them, dry them completely and then put them in a closed container or in a cloth bag in the refrigerator.
When buying kiwis, try to choose those that are hard and seem unripe and put them in a paper bag in the refrigerator or outside in a cool environment. If the kiwis are ripe, do not place them next to fruits such as apples, pears, and potatoes, because the gas emitted from them will cause the kiwis to ripen faster and spoil.
