Severe pain during intercourse
Teaching marital issues and awareness of the correct way of intercourse among families will reduce the pains caused by intercourse and the physical and mental problems caused by them, and men and women will experience a pleasurable relationship in the environment of married life.
The pain during intercourse is great and 3 out of 10 women suffer a lot of pain during intercourse and will have this pain over time.
For some women, the pain will be only a temporary problem, for others it will be a long-term problem.
What causes pain during intercourse?
1) Pain during sex may be a symptom of a female problem such as endometriosis or ovarian cysts.
2) Pain during sex may also be caused by problems with sexual responses, such as lack of desire for sex or lack of arousal (physical and mental changes that occur in the body as a result of sexual stimulation).
Where is the pain felt during sex?
You may feel pain in your vulva, in the area around your vagina called the vestibule, or inside the vagina. You can also feel pain in your back, pelvis, uterus or bladder.
Anatomy of the female pelvis includes: fallopian tubes, labia majora, uterus, cervix, ovary, bladder outlet, mesentery, labia minora, clitoris, vestibule, vagina, anus.
The cause of burning and itching of the vaginal opening during intercourse:
fungal infection: Itching and burning are two of the many symptoms of a fungal infection, which is also called candidiasis and is very common.
Trichomoniasis: A single-celled parasite that can live in the prostate gland of men can cause a yellow-green frothy discharge as well as itching. This problem cannot be treated with over-the-counter drugs and you need to see a doctor.
Vaginitis: It means inflammation of the vagina. Vaginitis results from sexual intercourse or any other factor that disturbs the normal balance of the vagina, which contains bacteria that help clean the vagina and maintain its normal moisture.
Vaginal burning: Factors related to sex that may cause burning and itching of the vagina include the use of spermicide creams and gels or other contraceptives.
Allergic reactions: This problem, which is less common than infection, can also cause vaginal itching and burning after sex.
The condom itself may also cause vaginal itching and burning in women who are allergic to latex, the plastic used to make condoms. People who are allergic to latex usually discover their allergy by being exposed to it.
What causes problematic sexual responses?
The most common reasons among people are the following:
• Mental conditions and your feelings such as: fear, guilt, shame, embarrassment, or discomfort about having sex. When you cannot relax your leg muscles, you do not have the necessary arousal or it is difficult for you, as a result, you may experience pain. become Stress and fatigue can also affect your sexuality in a sexual relationship.
• Communication problems and issues with your partner may interfere with your sexual response. Incompatibility reduces the desire for sex.
• Many medications, including birth control pills and pain relievers, can reduce libido.
• Medical and surgical conditions can indirectly affect sexual responses. These conditions include: arthritis, diabetes, cancer and thyroid conditions. Some women who have undergone surgery do not want to have sex due to the inappropriate image of their body.
• If you or your partner has a sexual problem, it can cause anxiety in having sex. If your partner uses drugs for his erectile dysfunction, there may be a delay in orgasm, and this will lead to longer intercourse and intercourse will be painful.
The important thing is that the treatments should be for two people, that is, both husband and wife should be included in the treatment and counseling program. It is not like giving a prescription to the lady and telling her to go home. For treatment, both people must be present and both must cooperate to get results.
