Activity and having sex is one of the necessities and foundations of a marital relationship. If sexual intercourse between couples is problematic, there is a possibility of many problems between them. But having too much sex also causes a lot of damage to the body, especially the heart.
Scientists stressed; Men are more at risk of death than women.
The findings were presented at a meeting of the Department of Cardiovascular Science at the University of Leicester.
According to studies, this male harm may be related to the specific sexual effects of male hormones that are naturally produced in the body.
In this study, 933 men with an average age of 19 years were examined and tested during the research program of the Young Men’s Cardiovascular Association.
Researchers have studied how sex hormones, including estradiol, estrone, testosterone and androstenedione, interact with three major risk factors for heart disease, including cholesterol, blood pressure and weight.
They found that two samples of these sex hormones, estradiol and estrone, which are called estrogen together, were associated with increased levels of bad cholesterol and decreased levels of good cholesterol in men.
This association suggests that certain sex hormones are in fact important risk factors for heart disease in men even before the onset of symptoms of coronary artery disease or stroke.
