If you’re looking to lose weight, smoothies are one of the best way to do it. This mango pineapple green smoothie is a great way to flush out toxins, and get the lymphatic system moving (all the while feeling fully satiated and satisfied). It also supports healthy digestion, which effortlessly results in weight loss.
One symptom of lymphatic congestion is weight gain and extra belly fat. Research has found that 80% of overweight women have sluggish lymphatic systems! This green smoothie is a great way to help stimulate the lymphatic system – the chlorophyll in leafy greens, citric acid in lemon and oranges, and bromelain in pineapple all help keep the lymph healthy and running smoothly. Don’t forget, however, that because the lymph system has no way of physically pumping itself (unlike the circulatory system), that you need to move your body to move out old lymph. Rebound, do yoga, go for a walk, or put on your favourite music and dance!
The high fibre content of this smoothie, and beneficial enzymes and phytonutrients also help keep the digestive tract clean to improve nutrient absorption and aid in weight loss. How’s that for a super-nutrition-packed smoothie? Make this awesome blend for lunch (or even dinner), and simply watch how amazing you feel afterward!
Ps. I have become obsessed with the glass straws from Glass Drinking Straws! They are even offering my readers a 10% discount at checkout when you use the code “livelovefruit” – check them out, and ditch the plastic straws. They are bad for our health, and the environment!
