The first step in treating eczema is to prevent itching. It is better to use local solutions or creams to moisturize the skin. If the existing condition worsens or does not resolve satisfactorily, the use of weak topical corticosteroid creams or ointments without a doctor’s prescription is necessary to reduce inflammation.

1- Lanolin, glycerin and shea butter

You may have two jeans of lotion or detergent in your bathroom closet, but you don’t know what makes your skin itchy and what makes your skin soft. Experts recommend that instead of buying different commercial body shampoos or soaps, look for creams that contain lanolin, glycerin, and shea butter because these products improve the skin and make it soft.

2- Hyaluronic acid

Considering that there is no definitive treatment for eczema. You can use products that contain hyaluronic acid. This substance is found naturally in the body and leads to the absorption of water from the atmosphere around the skin. Therefore, creams containing hyaluronic acid make your skin soft and moist.

3- Niacin

If you have red spots caused by eczema on your face and you have to use several layers of makeup cream to cover them, try using serums or creams containing niacinamide, which is also known as vitamin B6, instead. Use it because these products reduce the redness caused by eczema by strengthening the skin, and you can even use this product as a makeup base.
